Public transport in Astana
The city has more than 100 bus routes connecting all districts, the airport and the railway stations.
- Payment is convenient: with an Astra Plat transport card or a contactless bank card.
- Up-to-date schedules and routes can be checked in the Transcard app, as well as in Yandex.Go and 2GIS.
- For convenient route viewing there is the Avtobys mobile app.
Taxi and car sharing
- An official taxi can be ordered via Taxi Point at the Airport.
- Popular services: Yandex Go, inDriver. A ride to the center usually takes 20–30 minutes.
- You can also rent a car at: AVIS, Cash Auto Rent, ExtraCar.kz
Bicycles and e-scooters
For short trips or a walk along the embankment it is convenient to:
- Take an Astana Bike city bicycle.
- Rent an e-scooter via Yandex, Jet or Whoosh (rental is arranged through the app, rental stations are located throughout the city center).
