You will discover why this place in the heart of Eurasia became the heart of the country. Trace the city's development from ancient settlements to a dynamic modern metropolis. Visit both the Right and Left Banks and see the city's iconic landmarks and symbols of the new capital.
What to expect
Right Bank – the historic center:
Soviet-era architecture;
Monument to the Batyrs;
Republic Square;
stories about the origins of Astana and its key historical events.
Left Bank – the modern heart of the capital:
Independence Square;
"Qazaq Eli" Monument;
Palace of Peace and Reconciliation;
Baiterek Monument – the symbol of Astana;
EXPO complex and pavilions;
the Grand Mosque of Kazakhstan;
Khan Shatyr Shopping and Entertainment Center;
Astana Opera.
Some landmarks will be viewed from the vehicle while your guide provides commentary. We will make 5–7 minute stops at the following locations:
Monument to Khans Kerei and Zhanibek;
Ishim River Embankment;
Atyrau Bridge;
Baiterek Square;
the Grand Mosque grounds;
Independence Square.

All buildings are viewed from the outside.
The tour is conducted in a comfortable minivan or bus (depending on group size) equipped with air conditioning and heating. The vehicle is warm in winter and cool in summer.
The tour will be led by one of our professional guides.
