What to Expect

Theatrical lesson — a unique opportunity to discover the life of the theatre from the inside and see what usually remains hidden from the audience.
The programme includes: a visit to the Grand Hall; an introduction to the theatre’s public spaces; a visit to the theatre workshops where stage costumes and theatrical footwear are stored; visits to the rehearsal halls of the opera and ballet companies; an introduction to the stage, backstage area and the technical side of the theatre.

During the theatrical lesson, participants will learn how performances are created, get acquainted with the work of various theatre departments and see how the everyday life of the theatre is organised behind the scenes.
The theatrical lesson is especially popular among schoolchildren, students and other organised groups who want to get closer to the world of theatrical art.
